Care Code Insurance Services was started by Shaju in 2009 with a simple idea — that insurance, India's most under-explained product, deserves a human guide.
Operating out of Thalore in Thrissur district, Shaju is an authorised representative for two of the country's most respected insurers: HDFC ERGO General Insurance and Star Health & Allied Insurance. Between them, his clients are covered for health, motor, home, travel, and critical illness — under policies recommended one family at a time.
Over 800 families across Thrissur now consider Care Code their insurance desk. Most came in through a single phone call. None have been forwarded to a call centre since.
